Help Offered

The Love INC Clearinghouse offers a wide array of services through its referrals to its supporting churches. All services are offered free of charge by volunteers and donors.

We serve the Southeast Cameron County area residents who have a material, emotional or spiritual need.

 Love In the Name of Christ is bridging the gap between willing hands and our neighbors in need.

Getting help for yourself

If you are a person in need of help, here are the steps that you can take:

Love INC works on a referral basis. If you would like to receive assistance, you should do the following:

      Contact your the Love INC office at (956) 233-1486 between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm Monday through Wednesday and 10 am to noon on Thursday and make a request of your need.

Love INC verifies all the of the requests for assistance received. It is best if you call the Love INC yourself, but if you are unable to make the call and have a pastor or someone else who knows your case well, they can call the Love INC office and talk to a worker there. They will advise them and possibly refer them to someone who can help.

Getting help from someone else

Referrals are accepted from professionals only. If you are a social worker, a doctor, nurse, or home health worker. a police officer or a pastor, or if you work with a social service agency or non-profit organization you may contact the Love INC office and they will advise you as to the best course of action to take.
