Why does Love INC work?

• Unlimited resources in the Body of Christ for those in need.

• Gives Christians a specific, manageable opportunity to put their faith and love to work in serving the needs of people.

• Because Scripture tells us: Love never fails..... (1 Corinthians 13:8)

Why are we looking for financial partners?

We have had many people support us on various teams and others by donating needed items such as office furniture, computers and even long-term office space for the Clearinghouse operation. This is a major expense that we will not have to incur.

However, we still have our ongoing operating expenses that need to be covered. These include various items such as office supplies, postage, phone service, insurance and the like. Additionally, we need to fund the salaries of staff members who run the day-to-day operations in the Love INC office.

The Board of Directors has talked about everything from car washes, diners at local restaurants, rummage sales, golf outings and concerts. While these are all good ideas and help to fund Love INC in part, they are not reliable enough to fund salaries and operating expenses.

We need a solid financial foundation for the long-term success of the ministry. Our Love INC Partner program will help Love INC provide that foundation. This program seeks businesses, families and individuals who will make a commitment to support the Love INC ministry.

If you believe in the Love INC concept and what it can do for our community, we are asking you to become a financial partner and make an on-going commitment to fund Love INC of Southeast Cameron County. The amount you choose to give is totally up to you. All donations to Love INC are tax deductible.

What else should you know?

1. We are a local, non-profit, charitable corporation and are recognized by the IRS as a Section 501(c)3 organization. All donations will qualify for a charitable deduction for income tax purposes.

2. Your financial donation will be directed towards covering the clearinghouse operational expenses and will not directly help those in need.

3. Please contact our office and we will be happy to mail you a donation card for you to fill out and return to us or if you prefer just fill out the form below and mail us your contribution. Please make checks payable to: Love INC of Brownsville. We will update you with our newsletter on how your contribution is helping others share the Love of Jesus Christ in our community.
